Electrical Engineer Lead

Job Summary

Our Client an intelligent manufacturing enterprise focusing on photovoltaic cells and PV modules. This Global manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing project development team in New Zealand. Based in Adelaide, this role has WFH opportunity for the candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility assessments, site screening, and technical reviews for large-scale clean energy projects.
  • Support grid connection documentation (AEMO/NSP submissions) and liaise with consultants on GPS studies.
  • Design review and prepare bidding documents.
  • Participate in technical reviews, stakeholder meetings, and internal strategy sessions.
  • Help develop technical specifications and cost estimates during EPC tendering processes.
  • Do follow ups on EPC Projects.
  • Prepare purchase order for any estimates used during projects.
  • Look up at all the technical drawings.
  • Required to travel occasionally if needed to New Zealand.

What You will Need to Succeed:

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Renewable, or Power Systems Engineering.
  • At least **5 years of experience** in utility-scale solar PV and/or BESS development.
  • Sound understanding of AEMO requirements, NER compliance, and Australian grid connection processes.
  • Familiarity with grid studies, project design tools, and energy modelling software (PV Design is a plus).
  • Sharp attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to grow within a fast-paced, technically driven team.
