Key Account Manager

Company Introduction:

Our client is a leading global green energy storage solution and service provider. Companies fast growing and award-winning team specialises in Energy Storage System and Integration Solutions in the Residential & Commercial sectors. Company has 40 + Subsidiaries providing local services to its customers. They work with some top distributors within Australia.

Company provides advanced turn-key lithium battery storage systems, controlled by EMS and their cloud base system with cutting edge algorithm to improve product lifetime and efficiency. They also provide PV Plus Storage batteries for residential clients which can range anywhere from 3 KW-20 KW.

Role of the Key Account Manager here is to manage and focus upon Residential clients and working closely with distributors and foster growth within Australia. You will be reporting to the General Manager of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with their clients who are primarily distributors.
  • Maintain existing Installer and channel relationships with distributors.
  • Assist and coordinate the handling of warranty cases which are assigned to distributors coming from various sources such as Retailers, Residential Customers using there products at home.
  • Compile customer stock demand summaries and collaborate with the HQ team in China to ensure timely product arrivals.
  • Oversaw customer financial statements and effectively follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Managed and coordinated various customer marketing events and activities.
  • Vigilantly monitored competitor activities and identified emerging market trends.

What you will bring here: (Must have)

  • Minimum of 4-5 years or more in the renewable energy market sales experience.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years or more of proven B2B sales experience in a high-tech industry selling via indirect channels such as authorised dealers and distributors of electro-mechanical equipment/Solar devices or PV batteries.
  • Relevant experience managing a portfolio of customers to achieve revenue and share objectives.
  • Strong to expert capability in Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and knowledge of Salesforce preferred or similar system.
  • Excellent ability to communicate and coordinate.
  • Results oriented, self-motivated and ability to thrive in complex sales environment.
  • Proven territory planning and management skills.
  • Australian Drivers License and willingness to travel.
  • Role requires frequent travel to see the distributors. All reasonable travel expenses incurred when meeting clients are reimbursable.
