Polyglot Group is a big supporter of startups and more specifically, a big believer in fostering cross country and cross cultural innovation and collaboration.
As such, Polyglot Group was humbled to participate in the 7th edition of the Digital Sisters event in Madrid on the 1st of June 2017. The event brings together the best of French and Spanish innovation & collaboration, with more than 40 Spanish & French startups benefitting from the thematic round tables, practical workshops, networking opportunities and B2B sessions which bring together 400 local executives.
Sponsored by Business France & La French Tech (see below to know more about both organisations), the event is quickly becoming a must-attend in the eyes of the French Tech community.
Due to its cross-cultural nature, Polyglot Group was thrilled to supply the event with experienced interpreters whom translated the participants’ pitches and presentations on the fly.
We were also very proud to award the “Best Company” award to STORETAIL, a full stack cloud platform that brings Trade Marketing online for Retailers and Brands. Founded in 2014, the company’s Director for Spain & Portugal, Olivier Jaupart, was there to receive the award for innovation.

Business France is a French Government agency which specialises and supports the French economy’s international development. It promotes and is responsible for fostering French business export growth, as well as promoting and facilitating international investment in France. The organisation promotes French companies as well as the nation’s best assets for foreign investment, and also runs the VIE international internship program.
La French Tech Barcelona project aims to leverage the existing efforts and expand to the whole French tech community, gathering individuals and organisations under a unique banner. As a consequence, it will be easier for incoming French startup companies or French entrepreneurs to seek assistance from the local BCN ecosystem while developing their business in the Catalonia and Spain.
