Last night Wednesday the 16th of March, Polyglot had the honour of participating and sponsoring a networking event organised by Advantage Austria (the Austrian Chamber of Commerce) and in co-operation with Hall & Wilcox.

With 80 people in attendance, Deputy Shanay Hubmann and Karl Hartleb, the Consul General & Trade Commissioner had the opportunity to speak directly to the Melbourne Business community and share a few Austrian delights.

Joined by guest speaker, Timothy Piper, the Victorian Director of the Australian Industry Group, as well as Guest of Honor, The Hon. Heidi Victoria, Member of the Victorian Parliament and Shadow Minister for Arts, Culture, Tourism, Major Events and Aboriginal Affairs, the event touched upon the current business climate in Victoria, discussing existing challenges, touching on recent government initiatives as well as pointing out opportunities for cooperation with Europe.

Polyglot Group is proud to have been able to sponsor the event and to continue to support our multicultural communities around the globe and we hope everyone in attendance enjoyed the Austrian food on offer.
