We currently have a vacant internship position in our SYDNEY office for a HR Assistant as part of our People & Culture team, starting in MID – JULY 2020.

Please note that this offer is a 6-month full time mentoring internship aimed at students only. The successful candidate must provide an agreement from their college/university.

 

What You’ll Be Doing?

The Human Resources intern will provide day-to-day support to Polyglot Group’s People & Culture HR department. By the end of the internship you will be able to:

  • Provide on-going HR related support to our HR Manager.

  • Work in collaboration with our Payroll team on matters including remuneration, awards & benefits.

  • Draft/develop HR documents (e. g. employment contracts, induction manual).

  • Support Polyglot Group’s new employees on-boarding processes.

  • Coordinate visa applications & draft support letters.

  • Assist in our in-house talent acquisition process from A to Z, including but not limited to:

  1. Acknowledging receipt of applications and screening of candidate profiles.
  2. Sourcing for specific profiles
  3. Attending and conducting job interviews

  • May assist with the coordination of Polyglot Group’s internship program (e.g. internship paperwork, intern’s recruitment).

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Student in Bachelor/master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Economics or Business
  • Good written and oral English skills (any other language would be a plus)
  • Good knowledge of Social Networks (particularly LinkedIn)
  • Autonomy, initiative, persistence
  • Interest in project management in recruitment, HR, contact and networking
  • Excellent communication skills

 

In order for the internship to be the most rewarding, candidates must be available for 6 months. Your Language skills, even if different from the ones stated above are considered as an asset as we work in many languages every day.
