Simon Miclet, our South Africa General Manager was a finalist of the French Young Entrepreneur Award!

We are proud to announce that our South African Managing Director, Simon Miclet, was nominated as a finalist for the 2018 French Young Entrepreneur Award.

About the Award

Organised by the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this award recognises achievements, challenges and success met by a Young French person in South Africa. The entrepreneur is either someone who has started their own business in South Africa (up to 2 years ago) or has taken over an existent business in South Africa.

This nomination is very meaningful, as it highlights Simon’s great success in setting our presence in Africa and building business with the local community.

Our Presence in South Africa

Polyglot Group started doing business in Africa about 10 years ago. Having formed long-lasting relationships with local partners and clients (as well as having grown our local knowledge & expertise) we decided to develop our local presence.

Creating a business in a new market is immensely rewarding but doesn’t come easy, especially in a complex environment such as South Africa.
Being a finalist for the 2018 French Young Entrepreneur Award is therefore a great acknowledgment, not only of Polyglot Group’s success but also of Simon Miclet’s entrepreneurial success.

Having started his Polyglot journey 8 years ago as an intern, it is with no surprise that Simon’s international and multidisciplinary experience led him to take up the challenge of opening our new office in Cape Town back in January 2017.

After a successful year of growth, Polyglot African’s presence is only at the beginning of its thriving journey.
