The new year is a universal time for celebration, but this year is particularly special for us at Polyglot Group. Whilst the world rings in the new year and a new decade, we’re also celebrating our milestone 25th anniversary!

From beginning as a one-person venture in Sydney, Australia, to now having a presence in six countries across the globe, we’ve experienced exponential growth over the past 25 years and intend to continue in the same fashion.

Part of this success has come from our commitment to helping businesses grow by nurturing their best asset – their people. After a quarter of a century in business, we continue to lead with our human-centric approach. It’s what we do best!

We most certainly have our founder and CEO Corinne Bot to thank for leading the company into what it is today. As she says, it all comes down to creating a strong culture based on shared values. What sets Polyglot Group apart is our ability to live and breathe our own values of passion, trust, and, above all, care. Care for our clients, care for our teams and care towards fostering positive change.

From partnering with like-minded organisations to taking action to reduce our environmental footprint, supporting local causes as well as facilitating opportunities for employees to volunteer their skills and time, we strive to give back to the broader community.

The Celebrations

Naturally, the celebrations had to be like our reach – international! We began on the 25th (fitting, right?) of February in Sydney, where our global headquarters are based.

Australia

For the Sydney event, we found ourselves atop the historic Old Clare Hotel, where the rooftop housed us and over 80 of our valued clients and partners for some live open-air entertainment (by Mark Crotti) and canapes (provided by Art Kitchen). Our guests also had the chance to commemorate the moment with a fun photo booth from Boothalicious.

In true Polyglot Group fashion, the night wouldn’t be complete without finding some way to give back. This gave us the great idea to give guests the opportunity to vote between 3 different charities for us to donate to. Stay tuned to find out which one was chosen!

You can find the photos of the night here taken by our photographer extraordinaire, Ben Williams. (The pin is: 7071)

South Africa

For the South Africa event, we were fortunate enough to be hosted by one of our clients Havas Media, where we welcomed our valued clients and partners.

The evening kicked off with a keynote about “Humanity in Business” from Monique Landman-Bovenkamp, Founder & CEO of Unchain. This was followed by some laid-back networking paired with a delightful assortment of canapes (provided by Olives and Plates) and wine (sponsored by our client, Marianne Wines).

Are you curious to get a glimpse into the event? Or do you simply want to relive the night? Check out the official photos here taken by our talented photographer, Quintin Mills. (The pin is: 1823)

As Polyglot Group’s global teams rejoice in reaching this milestone together, we continue to look towards a bright future with big plans!

Commemorating the company’s 25 years in business, Corinne also shares her 25 lessons learned along the way – be sure to read them here!
